About Gayle:
Gayle Cloud, MT-BC, MTL is a vocal instructor at Evergreen Music School as well as a board-certified and licensed music therapist. She’s sung since her youth, both solo and in groups, and later relaunched her music career in Paris, France as a jazz singer, followed by several years as a musician/singer/songwriter in New York City. She eventually returned to her hometown of Seattle, and a few years ago relocated to Bellingham, where she, her husband and dog enjoy the wonders of the mountains, trees and surrounding water.
As a vocalist, Gayle has taught numerous individuals on singing techniques and how to tap into each person’s individual style. She helps her clients find freedom of expression and believes in support for the musical and personal goals of each individual. Her background in music therapy has allowed Gayle to help vocalists overcome stage fright. Having lived internationally, she also has broad experience working with individuals from a host of different cultures and backgrounds.
As a music therapist, she developed the University of Washington Medical Center's first music therapy offering. Gayle worked with patients in the cardiac, rehabilitation, pain management, transplant, intensive care and neonatal care units, helping patients and new parents with singing, expression, and songwriting. She enjoys working with voice and song in all its aspects. Gayle teaches voice lessons in Mount Vernon, WA and online.
Keith Bateman

ABOUT KEITH:
Keith has been singing and playing music his whole life. Born into a family where his mother is a fantastic music educator, orchestra founder, and director, music has always been a force in his life. Keith has accomplished so much in his young career. By his junior year in high school Keith was the tenor Washington State Solo and Ensemble 1st place winner. In his senior year, Keith won more competitions and was then sent to the national level. In Washington’s prestigious Schmidt Competition Keith was awarded 1st place and ranked in the top 10 nationally. Keith also performed in the 5th Avenue Rising Star Project’s production of Into the Woods as Rapunzel’s prince. Being able to act on such a large stage and being able to perform in a professional theater is one of Keith’s most treasured and valuable experiences. Keith’s love for music and singing has only grown through the years and he believes the most important aspect about being a musician and performer is the love and passion you have for your craft. His teaching does not only center around maximizing his students talents, but also cultivating their musicianship, and providing a space for them to learn, grow, and find passion in their music. Outside of the practice room, you’ll find Keith in the gym and on the field playing football and basketball. Keith teaches voice lessons in Mount Vernon, WA and online.
Eileen Brody

ABOUT EILEEN:
Eileen Brody's career as an elementary and secondary music teacher spanned over thirty years, and she's taught private music lessons in piano and voice even longer. Eileen has directed numerous children's and adult church choirs and community chorales in four states, as well as having been Director of Music for the Catholic Student Center at Dartmouth College in New Hampshire. She has been a vocal performer in stage productions and an accompanist for numerous groups. She is currently Director of Music for a Mount Vernon area church community and is Artistic Director for the Bellingham Community Chorus. She enjoys spending time with her extended family, walking with friends and working on her own compositions and other various writing projects. Eileen teaches piano lessons in Mount Vernon, WA and online.
Jacob Lann

ABOUT JACOB:
Jacob Lann is a lyric baritone and cellist from Bellingham, Washington and currently teaches at Evergreen Music School. He earned his Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from Western Washington University, where he honed his craft in both classical technique and dramatic interpretation. He has over a decade of experience as an active performer on the cello. He has been a part of ensembles from string quartets to full symphonies, including time as the principal cellist for the Mt. Baker Youth Symphony and the Western Washington Symphony Orchestra. His stage roles include Frank Maurrant in Kurt Weill’s Street Scene, Don Alfonso in Mozart’s Così fan tutte, Ophemon in Chevalier de Saint-Georges’ L’amant Anonyme, and most recently this past summer participated in the Prague Summer Nights Music Festival where he performed the role of Il Conte di Almaviva in Mozart’s Le nozze di Figaro in Vienna.Â
As a voice and cello teacher, Jacob is dedicated to helping his students hone their own craft and artistry, as well as learning how to effectively communicate the stories they want to tell on stage. He encourages all his students to start a journey of musical discovery by helping them develop and grow their technique. Jacob teaches voice lessons in Mount Vernon, WA and online.
