ABOUT KEITH:
Keith has been singing and playing music his whole life. Born into a family where his mother is a fantastic music educator, orchestra founder, and director, music has always been a force in his life. Keith has accomplished so much in his young career. By his junior year in high school Keith was the tenor Washington State Solo and Ensemble 1st place winner. In his senior year, Keith won more competitions and was then sent to the national level. In Washington’s prestigious Schmidt Competition Keith was awarded 1st place and ranked in the top 10 nationally. Keith also performed in the 5th Avenue Rising Star Project’s production of Into the Woods as Rapunzel’s prince. Being able to act on such a large stage and being able to perform in a professional theater is one of Keith’s most treasured and valuable experiences. Keith’s love for music and singing has only grown through the years and he believes the most important aspect about being a musician and performer is the love and passion you have for your craft. His teaching centers not only around maximizing his students' talents, but also on cultivating their musicianship, and providing a space for them to learn, grow, and find passion in their music. Outside of the practice room, you’ll find Keith in the gym and on the field playing football and basketball. Keith teaches voice lessons in Mount Vernon, WA and online.

ABOUT MIA:
Mia Ward is a voice instructor at Evergreen Music School, as well as a local performer and active student in Western Washington University’s Voice Department. She began her musical journey at six years old with piano, but her passion for singing quickly emerged after discovering musical theatre. With more than 15 years of musical training, Mia has developed a diverse performance and teaching background across multiple vocal genres, including musical theatre, pop, classical singing, and opera (her primary area of study).
As a voice teacher, Mia is dedicated to helping her students discover and develop their unique vocal identity and strengthen their ability to communicate storytelling through song. She prioritizes exploration, encouraging students to experiment with new sounds, uncover musical nuances, and cultivate a deep connection with the music they create.
When Mia isn’t teaching or performing, you can still find her singing! Whether she’s gigging in local churches and concert halls, serenading her cat, Zucchini, or harmonizing with friends while hiking through the beautiful forests of the Pacific Northwest, wherever Mia is, music is always close by! ABOUT EILEEN:
Eileen Brody's career as an elementary and secondary music teacher spanned over thirty years, and she's taught private music lessons in piano and voice even longer. Eileen has directed numerous children's and adult church choirs and community chorales in four states, as well as having been Director of Music for the Catholic Student Center at Dartmouth College in New Hampshire. She has been a vocal performer in stage productions and an accompanist for numerous groups. She is currently Director of Music for a Mount Vernon area church community and is Artistic Director for the Bellingham Community Chorus. She enjoys spending time with her extended family, walking with friends and working on her own compositions and other various writing projects. Eileen teaches piano lessons in Mount Vernon, WA and online.

Jacob Lann

ABOUT JACOB:
Jacob Lann is a lyric baritone, cellist and pianist from Bellingham, Washington and currently teaches at Evergreen Music School. He earned his Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from Western Washington University, where he honed his craft in both classical technique and dramatic interpretation. He has over a decade of experience as an active performer on the cello. He has been a part of ensembles from string quartets to full symphonies, including time as the principal cellist for the Mt. Baker Youth Symphony, and the Western Washington Symphony Orchestra. His stage roles include Frank Maurrant in Kurt Weill’s Street Scene, Don Alfonso in Mozart’s Così fan tutte, Il Conte di Almaviva in Mozart’s Le nozze di Figaro in Vienna, and most recently performed the title role in Mozart’s Don Giovanni at the Estates Theatre in Prague on the same stage that it premiered on in 1787. As for piano, Jacob has over a decade of collaborative piano experience, specializing in working with vocalists. He currently works as the staff pianist for St. Brendan’s Anglican Church in Bellingham.
As a voice, piano and cello teacher, Jacob is dedicated to helping his students hone their own craft and artistry, as well as learning how to effectively communicate the stories they want to tell on stage. He encourages all his students to start a journey of musical discovery by helping them develop and grow their technique.
