Kindermusik Musicians
This program serves children ages 5-7 and is taught in a small-group class (max six students) where children can develop a strong musical foundation by learning the concepts, language, notation, and vocabulary of music and its greatest composers. These skills will prepare young children who are eager for their first experience with musical symbols and instrument discovery but are not yet ready for formal lessons and traditional music reading with an instrument. Each lesson was created for a 60-minute experience with caregivers encouraged to attend during the last 10-15 minutes. The first semester lasts 16 weeks and a second 16 week semester will complete Year 1.
Tuition: $480 (You must commit to the whole 16 week semester)
Semester 1 Home Materials:: $115 ($70 for the Year One Musicians Kit* + $45 Music Access Fee)
*Musicians Kit includes Fiddlesticks, Glockenspiel with mallets, Glockenspiel Book, Game Pieces Packs
More About Kindermusik
In my music classes for toddlers, babies, big kids, and families, we sing, dance, giggle, hop, travel on imaginative adventures, cuddle, play instruments, share ideas, read stories, celebrate the uniqueness of each child, and more! As a trained and licensed Kindermusik educator, I lead the class through music and movement activities with proven developmental benefits that include boosting early literacy and language abilities, social-emotional skills, cognitive development, and gives children many opportunities to practice fine- and gross-motor skills in a fun, loving community of families. Plus, throughout my Kindermusik classes, parents and children enjoy those special one-on-one moments bonding together.
Kindermusik isn’t just a weekly music class. The learning and memory-making last throughout the week. My music classes intentionally include resources for families to use together outside of class, including the music, story, and activities as well as the developmental insights behind them. I know that connecting the classroom learning to those “everyday” moments supports a parent’s role as a child’s first and best teacher. In addition, the repetition throughout the week strengthens the neural connections in a child’s brain and gives children more confidence in the classroom. (And, of course, it’s fun for the whole family!)
