ABOUT KYLIE:
Kylie has been singing since before she could remember and an active choir member since she was in 4th grade, developing a lifelong passion for music making with others. She discovered a love for musical theater beginning in 6th grade, participating in as many productions as she could. Her vocal experience ranges from classical singing, musical theater, rock, and more. Additionally, Kylie has been playing and studying ukulele, most recently studying accompanying methods at WWU. Some of the most joy Kylie finds in making music is singing and playing ukulele in varying musical styles with others. Kylie earned her Bachelor’s degree in Music and Sound Design before moving to Bellingham to pursue her Master’s degree in Music Education from Western Washington University. Kylie’s teaching philosophy centers around joyful music making and collaborative goal-making. She hopes her students will not only increase their musical skills, but also increase their love of the craft. Outside of the studio, Kylie enjoys composing music, painting, going for walks, and spending time with family. Kyli teaches ukulele lessons in Bellingham, WA and online.
