ABOUT BRITTANY:
Brittany began her musical journey starting piano lessons at 8 years old. Along with classical training, she learned a wide range of musical styles and enjoys playing all genres of music to this day. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Music at the Oregon Center of the Arts under the tutelage of Dr. Alexander Tutunov. Brittany most recently taught at the Colorado Springs Conservatory, teaching piano, music theory, and music enrichment to kids of all ages. She has also been active as a piano accompanist and composer. She has several original compositions and has also composed for theater and film production. ABOUT KRISTEN:
Kristen has spent the last 27 years in the Greater Houston area teaching, conducting, and performing. For 16 years she performed with “Global Dance Theatre” at the Texas Renaissance Festival as the lead violinist, composer, and arranger. Kristen also actively performed with the Celtic duo “Earl Grey in the Morning” both regionally and nationally. Kristen now resides in Lyden Washington and continues to teach and perform.

ABOUT LEAH:
Leah began her piano studies at age seven, and has since also studied violin, voice, percussion, and composition. Leah received her bachelor's degree in music from the UBC School of Music where she studied piano with Terence Dawson and Rena Sharon. She has also studied privately with several other notable musicians, including Douglas Finch (improvisation, Trinity Laban), Stephen Chatman (composition), Edward Top (composition) and Serra Hwang (composition). Leah’s breadth of experience leads to a uniquely nuanced performance practice and produces work that is lyrical, insightful, and committed.
A pedagogue at heart, Leah also enjoys fostering musical awareness and discipline in her students. Her primary goal as a teacher is to help students develop an intrinsic source of curiosity and confidence that will be with them for the rest of their lives. ABOUT NATHAN:
When Nathan began studying piano he made a strong commitment to his instrument. Very quickly Nathan advanced far throughout classical piano repertoire, with experience of pieces from Ravel, Rachmaninoff, Debussy, and many more. He also has experience accompanying and even performed George Antheil's "Ballet Mecanique" with WWU's New Music, and percussion ensembles. Nathan has a fairly technical approach centered around awareness and understanding, which he hopes will provide students with the skills to learn effectively, and to take on any challenge they may desire. ABOUT MICHAEL:
Michael is a classically trained pianist with a Bachelors in Piano Performance from Western Washington University. He began studying at the age of 4 with his dad before eventually moving to study with teachers in Chicago and in Seattle. Michael has enjoyed playing a wide variety of music, especially pieces by composers such as Beethoven, Chopin, Debussy, and also enjoys modern and contemporary composers. At Western, he enjoyed collaborating with string players and singers, as well as small ensembles like the New Music Ensemble. Joanna Zagelow’s piano career started when she was only five years old. In 1996 she opened her own piano studio with great success and became a full time piano teacher. ABOUT EILEEN:
Eileen Brody's career as an elementary and secondary music teacher spanned over thirty years, and she's taught private music lessons in piano and voice even longer. Eileen has directed numerous children's and adult church choirs and community chorales in four states, as well as having been Director of Music for the Catholic Student Center at Dartmouth College in New Hampshire. She has been a vocal performer in stage productions and an accompanist for numerous groups. She is currently Director of Music for a Mount Vernon area church community and is Artistic Director for the Bellingham Community Chorus. She enjoys spending time with her extended family, walking with friends and working on her own compositions and other various writing projects. ABOUT EVA:
Eva Huentelman has been playing piano since the age of five. She studied piano under Sydney Lee and composition under Dr. Charles Atwood. In 2021, she received her Master of Music in Film Composition from the Seattle Film Institute, where she trained under Dr. Hummie Mann. From 2018 to 2025, she worked for the Pacific Northwest Ballet school as a piano accompanist. During that time, she wrote and performed numerous piano compositions for the Pacific Northwest Ballet’s annual school performance at McCaw Hall in Seattle. In 2023, she was a guest musician for the City of Bellevue’s annual Family 4th fireworks show featuring the Bellevue Youth Symphony Orchestra.
